Frequently Asked Questions

Our members range from high school students to professional bassoonists.  They regularly perform with many ensembles in the Albuquerque area including the New Mexico Philharmonic, the Santa Fe Symphony, the Albuquerque Philharmonic Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of Albuquerque, Albuquerque Concert Band, Albuquerque Youth Symphony, and various ensembles associated with the University of New Mexico.  Many members also play in chamber music groups.  Because we all have many other commitments, the people who perform at any given event vary depending on availability. It is likely you will see different performers and different numbers of performers at different events. 

We perform wherever we can.  We have played at private events--weddings, funerals and bar mitzvahs.  We play at growers' markets, hospitals and senior living communities.  We have performed for public school assemblies.  We also try to give at least on recital per year.
